Week 9 Question no. 5

Q.5 of week 9:
According to the video lecture the question can be solved in 2 ways (L=0 and R=Size-1) OR (L=-1 and R=Size).
In the first method we get the key in 2 iterations.
However using second method it needs 3 iterations.
So, we will re-evaluated this question taking both as correct answers.

Problem solving through Programming In C : Exam Type and Certificate Format

Dear Candidate

Type of exam: Computer based exam 

You will have to appear at the allotted exam center and produce your Hall ticket and Government Photo Identification Card(Example: Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-ID with your Name, date of birth, photograph and signature) for verification and take the exam in person. You can find the allotted exam center details in the hall ticket.

The questions will be on the computer and the answers will have to be entered on the computer; type of questions may include multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, essay-type answers, etc

The hall ticket will be available for download tentatively around Mid of April 2019. We will notify the same through email.

 FINAL CERTIFICATE:

2. Final score between 40% -59%: Certificate of type "Successfully completing the course"

3. Final score between 60% -74%: Certificate with tag "Elite" printed at the top

4. Final score between 75% -89%: Certificate with tag "Elite" tag and "Silver medal" printed at the top

5. Final score of 90% and above: Certificate with "Elite" tag and "gold medal" printed on it.

We will re-evaluate the question, as there is some ambiguity in the solution. The correct answer will be 28. 
Explanation:  
strcpy(str1, str2)) makes str1= “Hello”. Hence, strcat(str3, strcpy(str1, str2))= strcat(str3,”Hello”)= daffoHello. Finally, strcmp(“daffodills”, “daffoHello”)=28 as  the ASCII value difference of the first unmatched characters (d) and (H).

NOTE: For joining a new course and submitting assignments you need to use the desktop or else switch to the desktop mode in the mobile to access the same in the mobile.

Now we have given a link in the assignment that can been see while you try to access the assignment through the mobile app. By clicking on that link you will be switched to desktop view.

Step 2:  Allow notifications when it prompts.
