Calculation of final score
Dear Students,
Hope you've done well in the exams.
There were some queries about the way the final scores are arrived at i.e. weightage given to assignments and final exam.
We've already announced weightage for different assignments and the final exam, please go through the previous announcements.
Wherever we erred we've rescaled the total score to arrive at the proper final score. For example: Some of you scored, 120 out of 100 in one of the assignments, due to wrong weightage given to couple of questions.
Therefore, the marks which you see at your end in the progress tab for assignments is different from your final score. We assure you that we've been lenient in awarding the marks.
Regarding scores for programming assignments :- some of the codes you sent didn't execute. Even then we've awarded some marks to appreciate the effort.
Hope you are satisfied with the course. Wish you all the best!
Regards,
TA, NPTEL Team
Feedback for Foundation of Computational Fluid Dynamics
Dear student
We are glad that you have attended the NPTEL online certification course" Feedback for Foundation of Computational Fluid Dynamics " which was conducted by Prof.S.Vengadesan of IIT Madras between July 1 2015 - Aug 31 2015.
We hope you found the NPTEL Online course useful and have started using NPTEL extensively.
In this regard, we would like to have a feedback from you regarding our course and whether there are any improvements, you would like to suggest.
It would be great to have a video feedback from you too - where you can talk about your experience with our course , the portal and how the course helped you (maybe for GATE preparation, campus interviews or in your job, etc) . We request you to give your name, if you are a student or a working professional and other details (such as college name or work place, if you would want to), the course you took and your feedback about the same. You can record this using your mobile phone or your laptop/desktop using a webcam or with the help of a friend and upload the same on YouTube and put the link below. We would go through them and select the best videos for upload on our portal as testimonials and in other videos we create about NPTEL for publicity
We are enclosing an online feedback form and would request you to spare some of your valuable time to input your observations. Your esteemed input will help us in serving you better.

Programming assignment
Dear Students,
Even though most of the you were able to submit the programming assignments without any fuss, some of you faced few technical problems. Therefore we will be manually evaluating the programs of those students who got zero marks even after passing the test.
Your code must satisfy the following criteria:
1. The code must be written in C. C++ or Python.
2. The code must have passed both compilation and test.
Please send only those programs in which you are facing this problem. Enclose all your program in a single .doc file and send it to noc15-me06@nptel.iitm.ac.in.
Mention clearly your name, enrollment details, Assignment number and the programming language that you are using.
Appropriate marks will be added to your final score after evaluation.
