Dates of exams are 5th July 2015 and 12th July 2015. Timing: 1pm – 4pm. Exam can be taken on any of the 2 dates. The list of cities where the exam will be conducted will be available in the registration form.

REGISTRATION FOR CERTIFICATION EXAM

Announcements for certificate exam registration will be posted on April 15th 2015. The online registration form has to be filled and the certification exam fee of Rs 1000, needs to be paid.

CERTIFICATE 
Certificate will be given to those who register and write the exam. Certificate will be jointly signed by Coordinator of IIT Kanpur and NPTEL and will have your name, photograph and the score in the final exam. It will also have the logos of NPTEL and IIT Kanpur. It will also be e-verifiable on the nptel.ac.in/noc/ website.

ABOUT THE COURSE CONTENTS

All the lessons for this course are posted as videos and this completes the content for the course. You will be tested in this content in the final exam.
2 assignments will be posted with complete solutions - one in May based on the first half of the course and one in June based on the second half of the course

 This course introduces the viewer to the basics of Operations and Supply Chain Management. The concepts in Operations Management are restricted to the planning and operational decisions within an organization while the supply chain concepts are for a network of organizations. The main emphasis of the course is on the basic concepts and on quantitative modeling of the various decision problems.
